By now you’ve…
learned who you can send it to, even if you don’t have an email list.
Awesome.
But if you think that’s enough to get people salivating for your Black Friday offer, it’s not.
And you already know why too. They’re busy. By “busy,” I mean they’re doom-scrolling socials while trying to ignore their inbox. Or they read your teaser email and got excited, but immediately forgot when their kid spilled cereal on the cat.
Your reminder email is a chance to jog their memory and build even more anticipation.
You don’t want to be annoying or salesy. Just open the door and welcome the people who actually want what you’re offering.
Why It Matters
People are distracted and need repetition.
Marketing rule #47: It takes more than one nudge for people to act. The reminder email keeps your offer top of mind.
It’s crowded and you’re competing for attention.
Everyone and their meemaw is sending emails this week. A little reminder can keep you from getting buried under everyone else’s.
Sets the stage.
This reminder email builds momentum so that when your Black Friday sale actuall goes live, they’re ready to pounce.

How to Use This Template
Keep it short
Not time for a novel or short story. Get right to the point, remind them what’s coming and why they shouldn’t miss it.Drop a hint
Tease the benefits or sneak peeks, but don’t give away your offer. We’re building suspense here, not showing them your hand.Be clear
Tell them exactly when to look out for your next email, if you can. Back to the suspense thing. Plus, if they don’t know when the party starts, they might miss it.Add personality
Let your voice shine. If the voice I use 👆 up there is too corny for you, ax it in place of your own. Keep it casual, fun, and on-brand.

Avoid spam triggers

Timing matters
Send it at a time your customer is most likely to check their email. For most, that’s early morning or early evening.
